War of the Four Gods

Shield of Kings

War of the Four Gods 1

What a wonderful take on war as viewed by each of the main characters portrayed in this novel! It could be viewed as instructional in explaining the futility of war,but blends in romance,religion,love/hate,revenge and duty to present a worthy portrayal of a country in political crisis, and the effect it has on it’s citizens…Marvelous, entertaining reading!!

Civil war consumes a kingdom, ensnaring rich and poor alike. The fight rages at city walls, across vast battlefields, and in the hearts of every citizen and soldier.

Sword of Destiny

War of the Four Gods 2

A rebellion on the verge of defeat. An officer on a divine mission. A traitor playing her endgame.

Carina, a rebel general defeated in battle, is imprisoned in the king’s dungeon, all but certain she will die there.

But Henryk, her second in command, gets a surprising opportunity to engineer Carina’s freedom. Can he pull it off before she pays the ultimate price for defying the king?

In the aftermath of a stunning victory, Duke Devyn is full of confidence and eager to finish the rebels off for good. Unfortunately, he lets his temper get the best of him – again – by embarking on a risky scheme that puts his life on the line.

Incensed at being overshadowed by Devyn, Lisbet plots her revenge. She’s playing a dangerous game and whether she succeeds or fails, her actions promise to change the kingdom of Norovaea forever.

Increasingly desperate to put an end to the war, King Arryk is losing faith in his generals. Sensing that Carina might want peace just as badly, he gambles on negotiations. But what will he do if they fail?

In the midst of Noravaea’s turmoil, Anton’s grief over the past begins to fade. He might have found the perfect woman, but he’s felt that way before, and with disastrous consequences. Will he be able to risk his heart once more?

Skirmishes and stalemates abound as the king’s forces and the rebels opposing him battle each other to rule Norovaea. Alliances waver while friendships are formed and shaken, tested to their limits by an increasingly brutal civil war.
